Endeavor toward the promotion of the human rights of deaf youth in Asia
The ADYS had been encouraging the deaf youth to participate in the Youth Camp, promoting the human rights for them, and facilitating the establishment of national organizations of deaf youth in countries/regions in Asia. Eventually, there was a demand for a Youth Section for the deaf youth of the Asia Region. It was finally established at the 20th WFDRSA/P Representative Meeting at Nepal in December in 2008. The first Youth Section Representative Meeting was held concurrently with the 21st WFDRSA/P Representative Meeting in Gyeongju, Korea in 2009.
